TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CONSOLE-REPAIRS.UK
1. General Information
These terms and conditions apply to all repair services provided by Console-Repairs.uk. By dropping off your device or sending it to us, you agree to these terms.
2. Diagnosis and Repair Process

Initial Diagnosis: Every device undergoes a diagnostic process to identify the fault.

Estimates: We will provide an estimated cost for the repair. If during the repair we discover additional faults that increase the cost, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

No Fix, No Fee : If we cannot repair your device, you will not be charged for the repair service. However, please note that diagnostic fees or shipping costs (if applicable) may still apply.
3. “No Fix” and Limitations of Liability

Irreparable Devices: Not all devices can be repaired (e.g., severe motherboard damage, previous failed repair attempts by third parties, or extensive water damage). If a repair is unsuccessful, we will return the device to you in its current state.

Pre-existing Damage: We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or issues that arise during the diagnostic process, especially in devices that have been liquid-damaged or dropped.

Opening the Device: Please be aware that opening a device may void the manufacturer’s warranty.
4. Data Loss Responsibility

Data Safety: While we take every precaution to protect your data, Console-Repairs.uk is not responsible for any loss of data during the repair process.

Backups: It is the customer’s responsibility to back up any important data (save games, photos, files) before handing over the device for repair.
5. Warranty

Repair Warranty: We provide a 90 days warranty on the specific parts and labour used for the original repair.

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

New, unrelated faults.

Accidental damage (e.g., cracked screen) after the repair.

Liquid damage occurring after the repair.

Tampering with the internal “Warranty Void” stickers.

6. Collection and Storage

Notification: We will notify you via email, SMS, or phone when your device is ready.

Uncollected Items: Any device not collected within 90 days of the “Ready for Collection” notification will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of or sell the device to recover our costs for parts and storage.
7. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the device is returned to the customer. We accept cash, bank transfer, cards.
